Longing for spring - a sketch
I've been too sore to do much sketching since I got back from Copenhagen almost 2 weeks ago, but I miss it too much when I can't do it at least every other day.
R brought these daffodils home for the weekend (this image is from a few days back), and now they're beginning to wither, so I grabbed the chance to sketch them while some of them still looked fresh.
I posted a photo of the sketchbook on our dinner table, surrounded by the pens and pencils I used on this, on sketching_daily - I'm trying to revitalise the community a bit, so anyone ready for a bit of regular loose arting, please join and post! I'd like to start the weekly or twice-monthly prompts up again, if people are interested - just head on over and help liven up the place a bit. You don't need to post spectacularly finished stuff on there, any old doodle will do just fine, whether in a regular sketchbook or on a loose scrap of paper. It's all about inspiring each other to do more sketching.
