The same old bread and rolls to sell
Every morning just the same
Since the morning that I came
To this poor provincial town
Old lady: Good morning, Adachi-san.
Adachi: Good morning, ma’am.
Old lady: Where are you off to?
Adachi: Junes! I just ran out of cabbage after making the most awesome meal!
It was a stir fry with cabbage, grated carrots, soy sauce---
Old Lady: That's nice. Rise-chan, the tofu! Hurry up.
Townsfolk:
Look, there he goes
The boy is strange, no question
Dazed and distracted, can't you tell?

Man 1: Hello
Woman 1: Good day
Man 1: How is your family?
Woman 2: Hello

Woman 3: I need.... six eggs
Man 3: That's too expensive!
Adachi: There must be more than this provincial life!
Man: Ah, Adachi-san!
Adachi: Good morning. I've come to get coffee for Dojima-san and some more groceries.
Man: Already?
Adachi: Ah… I got off work early last night and did a lot of cooking. Have you got any new sales?
Man: (chuckle) Not since yesterday
Adachi: That's alright. I'll- hmm… get some cabbage!
Man: That again? But you buy it every day!
Adachi: Well, it’s always so cheap! And it’s easy to cook and delicious and good for you and you can use it in anything!
Man: If you like it all that much then today it’s on me.
Adachi: Really!?
Man: I insist!
Adachi: Well thanks! Thanks a lot!
Townsfolk:
Look, there he goes, that guy is so peculiar
I wonder if he's feeling well
With a dreamy, far-off vision
And his nose stuck to a television
What a puzzle to the rest of us is Adachi
Adachi:
Ohhhhhh....isn't this amazing?
It's my favorite vegetable because.... you'll see
Tonight I think it’ll be salad and dressing
But I can’t make any of it

Woman:
Now it's no wonder that his first name
Means "transparent"
His thoughts are all over his face
Shopkeeper:

I'm cutting it off here now even though I've done the whole thing because the Gaston part makes me feel dirty. Dirtier than bastardizing the song in the first place.
