Confession time...

I feel like I need to get this out there, so here it goes.

Ever since I can remember I have hated distance running. Even in my peak years of athletics I could sprint like crazy, but when it came to running anything around that mile mark I just would flat out crash.

The thing is though I really really want to run a 5k. Not even just a walk half of it and then run the rest, I want to make it the whole way as a runner, so how do I, a person who can't even remember if she has ever run a full mile (and if she did enjoyed it) satisfy this need to run a race?

And its not even a big race :(

A few of you are runners, any tips or advice? Or am I always going to be stuck watching from the sidelines
