updates!
My platelets are dropping down again, not to the level that I have to go back to the hospital or anything, but low enough that I am stuck on the pred for at least three more weeks. Luckily we are getting low enough now that most of the big side effects are going away. I am gaining weight, which is such a sore issue for me that even thinking about it is making me stress out and combat everyone, but also retaining a lot of water. Hopefully in three weeks though my platelets will be at my low but normal level and I can get off the pred and move on with my life again.
Been doing a bunch of reading. My MIL got me into the Stephanie Plum series and between reading that and Dance with Dragons, I have had a lot on my book plate. Stephanie Plum is just plain fun, I'm half way through book 5 right now and enjoying each one, not surprised they are coming out with a movie since its one of those stories that just would translate well on the big screen.
Watched Tron Legacy. While the movie was pretty, and kinda fun, I felt like it lacked heart. Which is sad. Oh well. Still haven't got a chance to go see the last Harry Potter, but I think next week I just might drag David out of the house to go see it on one of my days off.
Been doing some hiking around the area. Yesterday we went up to the one area that is a little out of the way and had a great time. I even stumbled across a geocache out in the forest and signed out names in the log book, this of course suddenly renewed my interest in geocaching so Ive been looking some of the ones up in the area and plan on spending some free time walking around and finding a new. I need to get out more anyway and this is the perfect exercise.
Just finished watching Star Trek Voyager with David again. This is the first time we offically sat down and watched from start to finish, but we had seen most of the series before. We are going to be working on X-Files next, since I got into that show years later and never really have seen most of the early seasons. Maybe after that DS9, or Castle :D
