Stuff and lots of things
Except that I'm lazy, so it won't be about that many things.
Thing 1: I accepted a job offer from RGM Advisors. I start in September. I'll be a software developer working on high frequency automated stock trading applications. I am very excited. I also get to work in the Whole Foods Building downtown, which makes me also very excited. They've been great to me so far, and I am enthusiastic about the whole thing. Hooray for eventually not being poor!
Thing B: I am still dancing like a crazy mo-fo. In particular, 6 hours a week of rehearsal is going toward a fantastic piece at the end of April. You should all come and see it. My mom is, and she lives in Oregon.
Thing iii: Mom is visiting at the end of April. See B above. Yay!
Thing 4: My IMS project draft is due. Like supposed to arrive by mail on Saturday. Wow is that ever not going to happen. I started it yesterday, and I'm mostly done with the writing, but there is more that needs doing, in terms of some (extremely brief) video editing and some Motif writing. I haven't started on that yet. I'm sure I'll get it mailed soon here. A toast to paying attention to deadlines. Mmm toast.
I feel a strong sense of contentment these days. I am quite happy with my life and my spot in the Grand Scheme of Things. I'm even content not knowing what that Scheme is. Sure, things go wrong from time to time, and there are always problems. So what. They can't touch me right now. I am invincible. Ish.
