Hellboy Double Feature Saturday
Hey all you fine folks out there,
Hellboy II: Something Somthing is coming out this weekend, and we think it would be a good idea to have a double feature wherein we watch the first movie at my house, and then head to the Drafthouse to watch the second movie. We'll booze it up, have shenanigans and designated drivers, and generally have a grand old time.
So, the Scoop:
Date: Saturday, the 12th
Time: 6pm, at Monkey's Apartment (607 in the Monarch on 5th). Movie will start slightly before 7pm, and no, we aren't waiting for you to get here, so show up on time, because:
Tickets: Buy your own ticket at the Alamo South Lamar for the latest show, which is 10:20pm.
Bring: Drinks, snacks if'n you want 'em.
Lemme know if you're coming, have any questions, or whatnot. Also let me know if you intend to be or need a designated driver. We should be fine, but it never hurts to coordinate a bit. When in doubt, we'll send a landing party ahead and stumble over. It is about a 15 or 20 minute walk, which is no biggie. If you can't make it to the first movie, but want to meet us at the Drafthouse, that's cool too, but let us know so we can look for you.
EDIT: Guillermo del Toro apparently gave up the opportunity to direct Halo, I am Legend, One Missed Call, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in order to direct this sequel. So, yeah.
EDIT AGAIN: Apparently the 10:20 show is sold out, but there was a 10:30 show added, which some people from our gang are lookin' at going to. Doesn't change our plans much, except that we'll be split up for some portion of the experience. No worries!
