My name is Monkey
Many thanks to all of you who schemed with me (or schemed with D for me). My birthday was absolutely fantastic. I got nearly everything that I asked for, and the things I didn't get were replaced by more better things that I didn't even think about.
The important information that everyone who missed the ceremonial parts of the evening wants to know, though, is what my name is.
You shouldn't be entirely surprised. My name is now Monkey. Sometimes it may be embellished, like in my journal (foolmonkey), or in other places.
I wouldn't say that I am now not Chris, because I certainly still am. I wouldn't say that I am not Transverso the Clown, because I certainly still am. There are a great many names that I still have and still intend to use. However, for now, the nom du jour (monkeys apparently (pretend to) speak french) is Monkey.
All of you are welcome and encouraged to call me Monkey. You'll see more of that side of me in the coming months as I learn into this new name.
