[ACTION]
[You know what makes a good alarm clock on Christmas morning? ... Besides small children? ... DOGS.]
[There was once a time when a Christmas with the Masons involved Heather using her father's bed as a trampoline. But by this point, she's more interested in sleeping in. You know, in general. But that's hard to do with Pokemon around.]Ugh

guess who is munching on a zombie cookie as he follows Heather around Ecruteak, a packed together ball of snow cradled in his gloved hands? if you guessed THIS GUY, then you guessed correctly! He is being fairly sneaky, too, quietly tip-toeing behind her and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Oh, and he has his present for her, tucked away neatly into the many pockets of his jacket and pants. But that'll come later.
After the snowball assault]

[Needless to say, Heather would be a poor example of her age group if she didn't expect SOME kind of snowball attack to come her way at some point while outdoors in the snow, but from Kaito? Right now? Not so much.]
[With Cujo trotting far ahead of her down the street with his saddlebags (SHE FINALLY GOT THEM ATTACHED) loaded with stuff to mail off, she's sort of got her mind elsewhere as she walks.]
[... Well. Until she catches his reflection in a shop window, anyway.]
--!!
[She starts to whirl around, raising an arm automatically in self-defense.]
HEY!
Reply
Though the most pressing thing for him at the moment was his sneak attack. And just as Heather whirls around, he lobs the snowball forward, aiming right for her shoulder]
Merry Christmas, Heather~! [he sounds so very pleased with himself]
Reply
--I'll merry-Christmas YOU, numbskull--!
[But there's a grin on her face and she's already dipping down to grab up a handful of freshly-fallen snow off of the sidewalk.]
You'd better run!
[Watch out-- she's got really good aim.]
Reply
Just try it! [he calls out after her as he runs, laughter lacing his voice] Or are you forgetting that I'm uncatchable?
Reply
I don't need to catch you, just HIT you!
[Running throws off her aim, so she skids to a halt, winds back the arm, and hurls the ball at Kaito's retreating back.]
Reply
[he ducks low at the very last second, the snowball sailing harmlessly over his head, though he does sacrifice a bit of speed for his evasive maneuver]
Reply
[NO WORDS, JUST CHASIN]
Reply
Not too sharply, though. It's all playful, even if he is trying to avoid getting caught]
Reply
[Once she latches onto his coat, she grins and digs her fingers in tight. She's ready for him to pull away, so she counters it by leaning hard in the opposite direction.]
GOTCHA!
Reply
Cheater--! [which isn't true, of course. he's well aware this is a perfectly fair move]
Reply
[She laughs out loud, trying to pull him backwards. If she can, she'll be trying to shove him into a snowdrift because she is a wonderful friend.]
You started it! That means anything goes! Whatcha gonna do about it?
Reply
Apparently the answer is SHOVE A SNOWBALL INTO YOUR FACE because that is what he's doing right now]
Reply
[She twists away, blinking snow out of her eyes and making various indignant noises.]
Oh you are gonna-- Take that!
[She puts on an extra burst of effort to try and swing him around into the snowbank-- it's all piled up from where people shoveled their doorways out.]
