Dry spell
Sometimes I go for really long stretches without updating and I don't even miss it. But just so everyone's caught up (if anyone cares!), here's the highlights of what's been happening:
1. Got a new job waiting tables at Red Lobster, but I haven't started yet 'cause I'm letting them find a replacement cross guard for me.
2. Caden is staying at Melanie English's kennel because it's too risky keeping him in my apartment when the manager is a NO PIT BULLS evil bitch. It's costing me limbs, but it's okay, because Melanie is giving me a discount and I'm renting her house in May when my lease is up. Hopefully I will stay there until I get out of college. I detest having to move all my junk. The drive from the house is a little longer (8 miles from campus instead of almost-biking-distance), but I think I'll like living in a quieter place, without having to worry about my bean dog. It's pretty weird that moving to a house which runs a kennel of numerous dogs is *quieter* than an apartment, but you haven't heard my neighbors. They are freaks.
3. Taking 16 hours at college isn't as hard as I thought it would be. Between that and work, I'm about to have little to no free time, but a lot more money. Fair trade.
4. I made a caffeine molecule shirt like the one on ThinkGeek.com. I didn't want to pay 25 bucks for a shirt with a color scheme I'm not crazy about. Mine is black with a teal/lavender molecule. I'm going to wear it for my speech on Thursday.
5. Bought more fish for the huge tank. The turtle only eats the expensive ones, the bastard. (Maybe five dollar fish taste better than fifteen cent ones. Erica, I feel like yelling "THIS IS NOT FIFTEEN~!" at him.)
There's more, but I'm in kind of a mrr mood and this is more lengthy than most of the people on my flist have attention span for. Baby steps.
