Toga Toga Toga!

So, apparently the beach is closed for swimming right now due to a croc sighting.  Well, thats all fine and dandy cause I'd rather not swim in a dodgy area.  You can still walk on the beach and swim in the rock pool though, so I think if it doesnt rain 2 moro our beach adventure will be okay.  Last night was so much fun, there was a massive Uni toga party.  A bunch of us waited to get into the club at the Uni, but after standing in line for about an hour and only moving like 20 feet, we decided just to go back to Uni Hall.  Well, that definitly wasnt a bad idea.  Everyone was  having parties in their rooms and I didnt even have to pay for alcohol, haha.  We got a huge bottle of Bundaberg Rum from some drunk girl, haha and then this guy Jeremiah was nice and gave me 2 XXXX beers, which by the way I found out I'm excellent at chugging, haha.  So, all that went on til about 3 in the morning, I came back to my room, ripped off my toga and basically crashed in my bed and was dead to the world.  I thought I had set my alarm, but turns out I didnt even turn it on so I missed the writing workshop this morning, but Meg and Courtney told me that it was kinda worthless, well, not kinda, really worthless.  Basically I'm glad I didnt drag my hung over ass outta bed any earlier than I did.   I even ended up taking  a nap this arvo, which I'm so glad I did cause its gonna be another long night of drinking.

Not that  is all people do around here, but since the drinking age is 18, the whole alcohol thing just doesnt really matter on campus.  Like, you can drink in your room, in the common rooms, at the Uni club/pub, just where ever really... but not in the hallways or breezeways.  Still, the freedom is pretty awesome I must say.
