On the horizon
It's been a million years since I've posted. Or maybe just a month. A lot's happened in a month's time, and I haven't really had a chance to organize my thoughts, let alone type them down in LJ.
School's ramping up for that last push - my students are in turn stressed, excited, and anxious about exams, internships, graduation. I've become extraordinarily fond of them all, and am a little sad that I'm losing my seniors soon. Happy for them, too - but man, I'll miss them. The end of the semester/year is also chock-full of all sorts of events and parties and things, which are fun, but time-consuming and exhausting. I'm looking forward to a little more than a week from now when things finally begin to quiet.
Of course then I'll be on my way to France! We're leaving in just over two weeks, which is crazy. I'm super excited. We're going to Paris for a week, then dividing a week between Normandy and Sarlat (a medieval town in the SW). I think we'll be in Sarlat for our first wedding anniversary, too, which is exciting!
Lots and lots of other things to look forward to this summer, too: visits from Suko/Peter and Chris/Libby/Nolan...possible trip to C-U to see peeps...lots of good things in store. And much more to come, I'm sure.
