Today's lunch of Pad Thai is a lie. It's just noodles that taste sort of sour. And not anything like Pad Thai.
I felt that Lady Gaga's performance at the Grammys provoked a lukewarm reaction from the audience (especially compared to the thunderous applause Elton John got when he appeared in her set). I wonder if it's because she's still vaguely new on the scene, and hasn't paid her dues yet, or whether she's just not really liked by her peers. Although, to be fair, while I'm a fan of hers, I wasn't all that moved by her performance. I really liked Pink's performance, though.
Dogs are great. There's nothing quite like coming home - even if I've only been gone 10 minutes - only to have Kutjara run to the door, tail wagging, body squirming, trying to give me kisses, just to show me HOW GLAD he is to see me. Unconditional love is pretty wonderful.
Owning a washer and dryer is the best thing ever.
I recently read a bunch of old game/character stuff, and it left me feeling emotional and irritable. Why'd I do that?
Tentacles are for hugging.
I'm considering getting a part-time job a couple nights a week, not because I need the money (although extra is always nice), but to meet people. The book club meeting I went to last night was good, but it only meets once a month, so...
Doing some introspection to try to figure out if I act as selfishly as I often think. Josh says not, but I'm thinking about it.
The jury's still out on Adam Lambert's album. I love his voice, but am not sure that I love his music. I need to listen to it a few more times.
