(no subject)
I am really sickers. I tossed and turned all night, and got very few hours sleep total, and no deep sleep, I'm certain. Lisa, I heard the phone ring this morning, but I was trying desperately to get one solid hour of sleep. I am so snotted up right now, I don't know whether I should call in to work now or try to dry up before I have to go in. I would really hate to miss my first day at the racino. I took some sinutab around 2 am last night, and that seemed to help a little. I don't think I'm running a fever, but now my ears are starting to itch inside, which probably means they're getting infected. :(
That Becca called me ten minutes ago. Her plane landed a little bit ago and she is in town with her mom. She's going to stay with her for a few nights, and she wants to do something on the 4th. Unfortunately, I believe I am working that night. I told Brad he had better make plans with the kids, because it doesn't look like I'll be able to celebrate. I'm really not disappointed about it, though. The 4th hasn't been my favorite holiday in years, for a couple of reasons.
Anyway, I'm going to go shower and take some over-the-counter drugs.
