don't want to die in georgia...

Just to inform people... in case you didn't know... in W.V. (and most everywhere else) most servers make a meager 2.13 or so an hour. This is why you tip them...  it's important to not be an asshole and leave $5.00 on a $100.00 check. If someone does a good job, please tip them well, and if you can't afford to tip well, you can't afford to eat out at a dine-in restaurant. (Adaptation of Frank Kelly Rich's rule 28 of his 86 Rules of Boozing discussing bar etiquette.) Also, if you tip a server 20% or more, you are really going to make his/her day, and doesn't that just make you warm and fuzzy inside? And you know what even better? If something on your meal gets comped and you tip off the original amount, or for example, as happened to me tonight, if your friends pay for your food for your birthday and you personally give the server 20 bucks on top of the table tip, you are going to revive her faith in humanity. (Thanks Nemo!!) Also, if nothing else, if you like you server, if he/she makes you feel special and/or does a good job, tell them you appreciate it and compliment them... that can be enough for them to have a better day and have it in them to do their best for you.

I want to go home... Everyone please come visit me in Morgantown. I never feel like doing anything because I always feel sick and an almost constantly in pain or really hungry, because I refuse to eat, because I don't want to be in pain. (if you don't know that story...and want to...show interest and I'll post it later.) But that and the fact that my old good buddy Luke  is leaving for Iraq in a little over a day... and the fact that my friend Josh, who is over there now, hasn't show internet activity I have seen in the past few days... have me very tense and worried. (Joshua... if you see this... please let me know you are ok... and always remember that I miss you a lot.) However, I really think that seeing old faces would make me feel a lot better. Faces from back home... faces I miss.
