I used to carry a card with a Rainbow drawn on it.
I'd flash it at people and ask, 'Is this black or white?'
Or the button I once owed, which stated flatly,
'The Universe is NOT Binary'.
Which is how you can tell it from a computer game.
These things came to mind when I was asked recently if Wicca was 'good' or 'evil'. Leaving definitions aside, I was still unable to answer that question.
Good or Bad? Right or Wrong? Naughty or Nice? For us or Against us? Dirty or Clean? In or Out? Divine or Satanic?
Us or Them? Black or White?
To quote my favorite claymation chicken,
"are those the only choices?"
