Staying as I was

I don't think anyone will read this.

My friends, and I  think they were such, have all moved on.
But I still have, from time to time, something to say.

I passed the evening, alone, seeing an old movie. A movie I downloaded from the Internet in peer to peer.

It was an italian movie, but the italian version was not available. Mind, Iwould have been happy to buy it, was it available. Because this movie was special. It's called Cosí Come Sei ("Stay as you are"). It's the story of a men in its forties that meets a wonderful young woman (Nastassja Kinski). After the first night of love a friend suggests that she might be the daughter of his long lost love...

When I saw the movie the first time I was in my late teen years. The few images of Nastassja naked got branded on my retina.
I knew that all my life one of the archetype that dominated me was just that. The blond, skinny, beautiful, impulsive, elegant young woman.
But now after seeing the movie again I realized something more.

You see, when I saw the movie the first time I did not gave much importance to the incest element in the story. I mean, who cares, that guy is old, and here you have a beautiful woman naked. Who are you going to may attention to? But now, nearly 40, I saw the same movie again, but they eyes were different. Now I understood the pain of the father who is in love with the women, and just cannot tell her that he is her father, on the one side, but cannot consume the relationship, on the other.
So now I add another adjective to the description of the lady that have so much troubled my life: elusive, impossible, unattainable.

The movie is available from pirate bay. It is a beautiful movie, and Marcello Mastroianni (the father-lover) is a great actor.

If you download and see the movie, think about me. But let me know, I want to know it!
