2: Of course Spain is hunting terrorists. Spain didn't give up it's power. The point is in finding an acceptable middle ground between the two sides. Giving up would be to let the terrorists win the whole table. Staying in Iraq qould be not recognising that we cannot destroy them, or that they their point of view (on the necessity of the existance of Israel, NOT on the use of bombs) too should exist. (pick whatever you like)
Personally I don't sympathise on actions of terror (which leave me neutral), but on those who would like the world a more balanced place. Some of the people who feel this way us actions of terror as part of their strategy. It's a tool. Like the bombing of hospital in Baghdad.
You say that Spain hunt for simpathisers. In my understanding Spain is hunting anybody who is directly linked with the bombing. In other words anybody who have participated in it, or knew something that might have prevented it. I don't fit in either categories. If you know more please let me know.
