Jewelery
As a going-away present, my mother bought me a bracelet, of all things. She's never bought me jewellery before, I guess that now I am gay I'm supposed to have jewellery or something. It's engraved "Stephen" and she called it a "slave bracelet". I guess it's supposed to mimic the bronze slave bracelets worn by slaves in Africa many many years ago.
Anyway, I have been trying hard not to think of my impending move to Texas and the Visa troubles that go with it. I watched Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest today. Is it just me or is Jack Sparrow the most camp pirate you have ever seen?
Must say though, I have to admire Johnny Depp and his physical comedy. I have been in awe of his acting skill since he played Sam in the movie Benny & Joon. I saw a touch of class in that performance and for that I will always be a fan. :)
