Coming out
I came out to my parents on Sunday, I felt like I needed to even though I wasn't quite ready, what with the whole Texas thing and all.
So, that went surprisigly well, they took it very well. I left them some books and 12 page document I've written about it all. My mother's taking it pretty hard, I think she'll get over it though.
Texas is ironically uncertain at the moment, because I am a South African citizen. They can't "export" technology to me. So, I need to fast-track my citizenship process. If they don't sort it out by mid June, then I am not going. Yes, my company was supposed to check all of this stuff, but what can I say, they screwed up big time.
So, that would kind of suck, especially since I have started selling and packing stuff.
So, I am currently in a state of limbo. I can't plan anything more than a few weeks from now because I simply don't know what continent I might end up on.
