back in the game
Well its been quite a while, and for some reason i decided to visit the 'ole LJ... well not some reason..
i actually have internet in my apartment, rockin', I didn't for like 2 months.
which brings me to where i'm living... Eugene, OR... yea, crazy right? never thought I'd end up up here but I really really love it so far!
I've been trying to explore up here as much as possible, and have been doing some hiking, lots and lots of socializing! Its insane. I haven't quite figured out a good balance between work/social life/me time (me time of course being everything from cleaning and errands to shopping and manicures...) But I LOVE my job. Its really great to settle into something that I love so much, it actually is a de-stresser (most of the time). this morning I kind of went nuts on the lady in the airport, like freaked out on her a little bit... they almost kicked me out of the airport.. its a long story... but the point is, i went to work this morning and felt better! (more or less I felt really bad all day about how I acted). Anyway, I really love my job, I love the people I work with and work for.
Oregon is really amazing. I have never lived in a place like this in my life. At the moment, I am consumed by my love of fall, while the rain is a little bit of an inconvenience, I don't mind it so much yet. I even went jogging in it the other day! But fall is amazing, I've never seen the trees be so many colors at once, its beuatiful!!! I have gone up to Portland a few times, it looks really cool, but I haven't really been up there to check the city out yet. I've seen two concerts: Brandi Carlile and Guster... both amazing!
The boy situation is alright.. could be better, has been much worse...not my favorite thing to dwell on at the moment.
I am starting bootcamp on Monday, basically I'm paying money to be yelled at every morning for an hour before work and I hope to get in better shape from it. I mean, I'd have to work really hard to not be in shape from it...
hmm..
anyway... I"m gonna go to bed..i think i finally got over my first night back with internet leisure time.. its so different that what I ahve it for all day..i basically get paid to socialize and facebook people... seriously... i love my job! (there's more to it than that... but that's the general jist)
