Wow. This evening I ran two miles with some guys in the freezing
weather. We ran across our humongous campus and then to the
weight room at the Brody complex, where I did 9 pull-ups, 15 sit-ups,
and 45 push-ups. Not at one time, in three reps punctuated by
moaning. Then we ran back to the dorm.
Prodigal roomie Peter is currently in line at Meijer trying to get an
Xbox 360 at midnight before it comes out in the next couple days.
He's supposedly got one of the six seats or something for kids who will
get one. They don't actually have the one he wants - the $400
version with the bigger hard drive - so he's going to get the $300
version and sell it on Ebay or something. He's been there since
11:30 this morning, so that's let see, that's over 13 hours now.
Now if that isn't dedication, I don't know what is. What a guy.
I also had a lesson today, and I may be playing a recital at the end of
the year for honors credit. Playing a recital is very rare in the
studio as a freshman. Dr. Hartig wants me to play the
entire Hindemith Sonata and the Milhaud Sonatine. Should be
exciting.
I'm home in two days! I have to finish a huge essay before then,
though. Too much wasting time with Facebook. I'll see you
in hell, Mark Zuckerberg.
Oh yeah, there's
Marrowstone pictures
too. Don't get too excited, there's not that many. It's
funny because there's quite a few of Christoph and he didn't even go to
Marrowstone.
