garden state is an amazing movie (as i'm sure you've heard from a thousand people already)

i'm just sitting in my room with a headache. i could be at a little party thing, but it just seemed kinda lame.

I think Santa Cruz is where wanderingaround was thinking of going before I convinced her to come to HSU. ~_^

Hmm, that really depends on your definition of 'a lot'. I've lived here all my life so I don't know any other weather. But hmm. I'd say a normal amount? It's more usually just overcast than rainy. It never snows, though. But it doesn't get super hot, either.

I think it's because we're right on the coast, something to do with sea air. But I think if you drive a few hours north/inland, you get to Klamath which has lots of snow and good places to ski. :]

I don't know anyone personally, but maybe check out humboldt_state? Or visit HSU's website, humboldt.edu :D

Aye. Know what you mean about websites. I don't believe I've ever heard anything bad about HSU, so I'm confident it's a good school.

Besides, you'd live near me! :D
