(no subject)
i just found this book in my room called "peterson's competitive colleges 1990-91" which my late-godfather gave my parents when i was born. it said "page 131" on the cover so i turned there and it had harvard university highlighted. the tuition was only $19000 (less than IU's out of state tuition) then. he wrote "liz & dave, start saving! lloyd" underneath. it makes me want to do really well in college and live up to my parents' expectations which even though usually sounds like a bad thing (some parents push their kids too hard to the brink of insanity and that's really lame) but i want them to be proud, as well as everyone around me.
