Raspberry Margaritas
This is a backdated entry, since I didn't get around to doing it yesterday. :)
The new goal for this journal is to chronicle my adventures in the kitchen - since I've moved to a new place with a VERY nice stove I have redeveloped my love of food creation.
Additionally, I have a nice little bar now so there will be drinks involved here as well.
The first up is my somewhat rigged version of raspberry margaritas. Typically I'd make these with Razzmatazz (or Chambord if I REALLY like the person) but I didn't have any in the house. Thus, I substituted raspberry syrup and put in some triple sec as well. The orangey flavor of the triple sec was mostly in the background, as my raspberry syrup was fairly overpowering. So was the tequila. Mental note: I need better tequila in the house.
The umbrella adds a nice touch, no?
