Well, it's the start of a new year, and I've made something of a resolution to drink/try more wines. This journal will be a place to keep notes.
So first up is a white Burgundy - 2004 "Le Troncey" Montagny 1er Cru. I didn't chill it enough, so there was quite a bit of heat when tasting. Fairly fruit forward, and slightly acidic. Not bad for a $13 bottle. Paired it with some shrimp and vegetables, I probably could have found a better food pairing but that wasn't my choice. :)
