Towson adventures.

Haven't updated because there was nothing to update.
Now I shall write an entry about my heroic activities at Towson, as well as the relevent events before it.

So Northwest beats Quince Orchard. Nothing surprising. Except QO has the most awsome colors for their uniforms, and their Marching Band is about 3.5 times better than Northwest's band.

So I struggled to wake up on Saturday morning (stayed up until 3 am the night before watching the movie 'Dante's Peak' with jeannie). Got a ride from Rachel's mom, and arrived at school. We practiced for a while, then went to change and get on the bus. I was exhausted and all I wanted to do was sleep. Except I was too fat and couldn't find a cozy position to sleep in. The bus kept on tilting around and my head non-intentionally keeps on falling on this fat girl's shoulder beside me.(sorry. I don't mean to be mean, but she really is...)

We arrived at school, got ready and marched on the field. Stupid trumpets. Leslie(a trumpet player) marched past her spot and then pushed Hadonna to move forward and then the whole line had to scamper back later.
Stupid flutes. Poor stephanie... we worked with them for an hour at least and they still messed up at competition. Our score was 75.35. That's a whole point less than last year. We worked twice as long and twice as hard, with twice the cooperative attitude, and the score is lower. I think I'll go stab the judges.

There were so many bands doing 'Pirates of the Carribbean' for their show. I liked the one where they brought an entire ship onto the field.

Back to the main story. So after the competition, Mr. O (my band teacher) allowed us to walk around and find a place to eat lunch. There were concession stands nearby, but the prices were so ridiculously expensive (2.25 for a bottle of soda, and 3.75 for a puny box of nachos).

Amanda (a freshmen girl) asks if I could buy her a soda. I said, "Hell no. I know better places." So me, Hadonna and Amanda walks away from the concession stands. We walked around the campus and this cop drove by, giving me a look. (I had the pants of my uniform on, and it has straps making me look like a hillbilly boy. Also, Amanda was wearing these very short shorts. I don't think her purpose was to show off her legs, but I wouldn't be surprised if she was.) I went to stop the cop and ask him for directions. He got out of the car and told us where the dining hall was. It was really far.

But we walked anyway. Walked like 2 blocks then asked a girl for directions. She told us where it was, but due to my deficiency to follow directions clearly, after crossing the street (the first direction) I asked some old man on a bicycle again for directions. The old man was ... seemingly kind. He took us to where the students hanged out. During the entire time he kept on reminicing his past, and all the times he had with his bicycle. I thought he just didn't have anyone to talk to about these things, so I paid my respects and listened to him.

At first, we were walking on this sidewalk. Later I realized Hadonna keeps on walking into my path, causing me to walk diagonally onto the side. Then I saw why: the old man was walking really close to Amanda, and although I was the one talking to him, he was looking at her instead. So I cut short, strafed and moved myself between Amanda and the old man. Then looked quickly for a student, found a Towson student girl, and asked her for directions. We were just around the corner. So we said bye to the 'kind old man' and walked away quickly.

So we finally found the building. Went in (I paid for Amanda. But she paid me back later). I was starving... Took 4 plates of food, but since some food there was so horrible I piled up a plate of all I didn't like, and threw it away. I'm so stupid. I dumped chocolate syrup on my hamburger, thinking it was barbeque sause, until Hadonna mentions to me that it wasn't.

We sat and ate for about an hour. (I ate at least. Hadonna was eating some fries and ice cream, and Amanda was eating and planning to steal Captain Crunch cereal). We left around 3:30, and walked back. Some college guys drove by and honked their horns. I didn't think it was really funny... but the girls couldn't stop laughing. Then we walked past this group of old people. I was on the back, and this old man was looking at Amanda and smiled and followed her with his eyes... and again, it wasn't very funny, yet the girls thought it was hilarious.

So we got back, and some kids were like "hey where did you go?" and eyeing me suspiciously for taking 2 girls away, unseen and unheard of for 2 hours straight. We told them what happened, and they got jealous for not coming with us. They spent over 10 dollars buying a soda, a plate of nachos and a pizza, while I spent 6 dollars to eat my heart out.

So we had the awards ceremony, then for dinner, the bus took all of us back to the exact same place I had my lunch. I didn't want to waste money going back inside, but they wouldn't allow me to 'wander around'. Son's of biatches... they just wanted my money. So I went back inside and tried to eat another 6 dollars worth, but was too full from lunch and ended up almost throwing up.

Then we walked back to the bus, and again, I was trying to sleep and not throw up at the same time.

Halfway back, this girl (suzanne) ran to the front of the bus. The bus stopped and she ran out and got sick. I was trying to sleep, but there were all these stupid people who wouldn't stop singing. Not only that, they couldn't sing. Crazy flag girls... crazy Katie... and crazy homosexual mallet boy were the main people singing.

We got back and we played football on the parking lot. It was fun.

Got home, went to sleep.
