Today I had the time to grind my own meat. Two pounds of chuck roast. I had never done it before and it was surprisingly easy, though a little time consuming due to the tininess of my food processor. I definitely recommend it if you have the time.
I used it to make a burger with brie, sliced granny smith apples, and a spread of braised garlic and reduced balsamic vinegar. It was so good!
