I don't know Pat, or Gina, but they seemed nice enough on Food Network, lol. I was a captive audience at the time.
I don't know how many "oven-fried chicken" recipes I've tried over the years ... a lot. Guess what, none of them ever came close to the real deal (fried chicken = one of my all-time favorite foods). This one's probably the closest, maybe because instead of regular breadcrumbs, it uses panko. And it forced me to be healthier by instructing me to remove the skin first (fried chicken blasphemy!).
It was, surprisingly, really, really good.
