Went to Avalon in West Seattle this weekend. It's been open all of a month. Very cute and warm, with a fantastic brunch. My friend and I vowed to go back for dinner soon!
I thought it was reasonably priced for the quality of fare we were served. You should check it out if you're in the area... or even if you're not!

I couldn't resist and ordered a side of pancakes for $2. $2! I was expecting two small pancakes... Served with marionberry butter.
Sliced pear poached in wine came with each dish.
