I recently purchased an
Actifry, which allows you to emulate the texture of deep-fried foods (like French fries) with only 1 tbsp of oil. As a lover of deep-fried foods, I was pretty excited about a way to eat it with less of a caloric/health hit.
This was my second experience with using it. I made dak kang jung, a Korean recipe for crispy chicken coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. David Lebovitz adapted Maangchi's original recipe for use in an Actifry.
