Artichokes = Love!

 Hey all this is my first post after watching the group for a long time now!   Please excuse the poor quality pics, I'm getting a new cam soon.





Behold!  My Lovely Artichoke dip!  For more pictures and the Recipe,  

I usually make about a cup of this because I make it to serve 6, It keeps in the fridge in an airtight container for three days... WEll proabbly more but it never lasts that long :)

For the Dip You need :
1c Mayo (I use light)
4 T of crushed dry Summer savory.
5 T Garlic powder.

To DO:  Mix mayo and garlic powder well.  Crush dry summer savory before mixing, as this will release lots of flavor and is also a nicer texture.  Mix well and chill Until your Steamed/Boiled artichokes are done.

I LIke this in place of melted butter for dipping.  Its VERY garlic-y but it is easy to scale down to taste and a little goes a long way.  I know that 3 Table spoons of this can be MORE than enough for one large artichoke
