This is one of those desserts that looks really impressive yet takes hardly any work at all - seriously! Most restaurants charge $6 or more for one serving but all you need are four basic ingredients, plus some fruit, and you have yourself one fancy looking treat for a fraction of the cost.

May I recommend experimenting with a little finely crushed lemongrass? I have a large bottle of it, dried and finely crushed, and I'm always looking for ways to incorporate it. I was really amazed at the extra dimension of flavor it added to the sweet coconut sauce. I don't know how it would fare with a sweet and salty version, but might be worth a try!
