Last night I suggested we go out to a local country bar for their famous Stanley burgers and onion rings for supper. Doug didn’t really like that idea so I suggested I could make burgers and onion rings at home.
So this morning I started the hamburger bun dough in the bread machine. I also took a 1 lb. package of lean ground beef from the freezer to turn into the burgers. I searched the internet and found an acceptable recipe for the onion rings. I tweaked the recipe a little and had great success.
So we had these delicious home made burgers and home made onion rings for supper.
Would I do it again? Absolutely. They were so good, and the best part, there are enough of each for supper tomorrow night too. I love leftovers!

Our Supper, the burger is topped with mozzarella cheese, crisp bacon slices, sliced onion, tomato, home made dill pickle slices, crisp lettuce and homemade salsa.
