A friend of mine from Australia is traveling across Canada for a couple of weeks, and stopped and visited me in Toronto last weekend. I've been holding onto a box of Tim Tams for awhile, waiting for the right opportunity to try the infamous 'Tim Tam Slam'. What better opportunity than with an Aussie guiding me through the experience as an after brunch dessert?
Afterward, a waiter came by and asked us what we were doing. After explaining, I gave him the final cookie from my bag, with the order to 'get a cup of coffee and try this NOW'. I expected him to toss the cookie from the random stranger away, but was surprised when he came back 5 minutes later to say it was the best thing he had ever tried, and was still licking the chocolate off his lips and wanted to thank me and find out where he can buy some cookies for himself. *L*
