New to my recipe arsenal, this meal has got to be one of the cheapest in there at $0.90 per serving. It's from a cookbook called Cooking Light Slow Cooker, and it was dinner last night:
Using smoked turkey sausage, brown rice, lots of veggies, and fiber-riffic red beans, it was also pretty darn healthy! I loved the sauciness and spiciness of the gravy with the soft, fluffy rice and creamy red beans, and the turkey sausage was seriously tasty.
