The Best Meal from my Vacation
Was definitely the Frogmore Stew.
Frogmore Stew is a type of seafood boil. We made ours with shrimp, kielbasa, red potatoes, corn on the cob, beer (Sam Adams Summer Ale) and lots of Old Bay. The liquid was poured off and the yummy stuff was served on newspapers which had been spread over the table. I like that you can see the date on the newspaper in this photo. :) The week of August 9, 2009 was a delicious one indeed.
