What my gf calls "the heaven sandwich"
Hey friends, Long time lurker, first time poster.
I wanted to share with you all, my gf's favorite sandwich that I make her. She kindly refers to it as "the heaven sandwich". She, does after all love me very much :o)
Here's the thing she loves almost as much as she loves me...
It's really very simple, and does not excute any of the tricks I spent 20,000 in culinary school learning, but she loves it and I love her.
Ingredients:
Onion Bagel (from a local baker, ciabatta is also delicious)
jarlsburg and smoked fontina cheese,melted
Salsa spiced deli turkey from our local Henry's market
half an avocado (she likes it mashed up,guacamole' style)
Three thin slices of tomato
Salt, pepper
