im going to my FIL and MIL's house sometime around christmas. im a baker so under normal circumstances i would just bake, but he doesnt like sweets and id like to make something to impress him that he'll like. my Mister already bought a jar of raspberry salsa while we were at Olson foods but id like to make something to knock socks off

1 pack of filo pastry, cut into 24 squares (6 inch squares)
I use my mulled cider cranberry sauce reduced till it is thick but not burned for this.
12oz of Brie, take off the rind
Butter
METHOD
Brush 12 of the filo squares with butter and place the other half on each of the buttered squares.
Spoon a teaspoon of cranberrie sauce on top of the squares.
Put a piece of brie on top.
Fold the filo pastry over to secure the contents and to create small parcels.
bake @ the parcels for approximately 12 minutes until they are browned and hot. Keep a close eye on it though as filo goes from perfect brown to burned quickly. Also make sure you use parchment paper.
