That looks very tasty!! :3 A word of advice (aka, making stock has been drilled into my head by my instructors.) though. When you make stock, you would want to gently simmer your stock, rather than boil it. That way, your stock will be clearer.

Thanks for the advice! I was actually wondering why mine ended up a little cloudier than I expected. I did end up turning the heat down, probably to a point somewhere between a simmer and a boil, but I will definitely try gently simmering it next time!

some of the cloudiness can also come from the preservatives and MSG often injected into roasters. They are tasty, though.

homemade stock really doesn't require much effort, and it tastes so much better than the store bought stuff (which is actually a broth).

A great way to keep stock is to reduce it to a glace and freeze it in an ice cube tray. Use it instead of the flavor cube thingys

I'm incredibly amused that I saw that pile and went, "holy crap, it's stock like I make stock!"

... you even use the same tupperware. XD

I usually make mine in the crock pot, simply because I don't have enough hours in the day to stand over a pot and still get sleep/do homework. :/ I have noticed the cloudy vs. clear thing, though, when I made it once with the pot on High and another time with the pot on low.

It looks awesome!
