"The Hunger Challenge" - Food porn on a tight budget
Several SF Bay food bloggers have taken up the challenge of the San Francisco Community Food Bank to see what they can come up with for $1 a meal.
You can see Amy's food-pornalicious posts at Cooking with Amy. She has links to others who are doing the challenge. (I think that Amy is also trying to develop recipes for food banks to hand out with boxes.)
The best news is that Tyson Foods saw Amy's tweets on the subject and has pledged to donate 100 lb. of high-quality protein foods to Bay Area food banks for each comment on a special donation page.
