Baby Shower Cake

This is only my 2nd baby shower cake ever.  I really had fun doing it.  Its also the first cake I've done in a long time and the first time I've ever done the fondant booties.  I think they came out SOOOO cute.
Chocolate Fudge Cake, Vanilla Buttercream, Fondant Accents.  Serves about 30.

Oh my gosh; that is so cute!

I just started decorating cakes beyond throwing icing on them and calling it a day (Wilton Method of Cake Decoration Course 1 graduate!); this is absolutely adorable. I may have to steal this idea when I'm finally going to have a niece or nephew! : D

Well gratz on graduating from Wilton 1! I've done all 3 courses and taught them for a while. I love decorating cakes too!

Here is a tutorial on how to make the booties, including the pattern I used to cut out the individual pieces! Can't wait to see what you do with them!
