Over the past couple of days...

I've been on a cooking spree. :]

The stew is in the crock pot now, bubbling away until about 5. I'll post pictures when it's done.

There's something so... endearing, I suppose... about food porn on patterned paper plates. To me it expresses such a love of the food. Pretty china or no-clash white ceramic makes no difference, nor does good lighting at a clean table. Your pictures say to me, "Look at this fabulous salmon. I loved it and I want you to love it too." The non-food details are irrelevant.

Beef stew is practically cause for a holy war in my household... Mr. Brienze likes his soups runny, so doesn't approve of stew at all, whereas I'm still in search of the perfect, flavorful, stand-a-spoon-upright-in-it stew. I'll look forward to pictures of yours. =)

Oh god, I'm withyou there in the thick stew.

When I eat soup, I eat it with crackers. And, it's alright.

But stew, I need a thick slice of crusty bread to sop up all that deliciousness. :]
