So, I have this "friendship bread" starter. Very tasty. I've made the version with instant pudding, a version without instant pudding, a version with bananas, and a version with raisins and 5 spice powder instead of cinnamon (YUM!).
I've also gotten tipsy off of licking the batter bowl (yay for yeast)!
Now, I want to know, how do I go about making regular bread that doesn't involve a chemical leavening from this bad boy?
I've seen the versions that call for mashed potato, but surely there's something out there that doesn't have tubers in it?
I'd futz around with it on my own, but with a < 3 month old baby I don't have a whole lot of time for trial, error and disappointment.
Thanks in advance :)
