More easy, student friendly porn and Melbourne food porn linkage

Sorry no pics this time but here is another simple, relatively cheap recipe that I love.

1 fresh piece spinach roti (I get mine, along with most of my fresh food from food porn paradise, also known as Prahran Market in Melbourne, Australia)
About 30g (1oz) Greek Feta Cheese (you can substitute a cheaper variety if Greek feta is expensive where you live just make sure it has a ton of flavour and is Greek-styled, that is, hard.)
1 clove of garlic
Splash of extra virgin olive oil
1 wedge lemon

Pre-heat a sandwich press, George Foreman Health grill or similar.
Crush or very finely chop the clove of garlic, fry off in a small pan on high heat with oil until golden and crunchy (This takes about two minutes for me but my hotplates leave a lot to be desired in the heat department.)
Spread the garlic and whatever is left of the over one half of your roti.
Crumble the feta evenly over the garlic, leaving a margin of about 1 inch around the edge.
Fold the roti in half and toast in the sandwich press until golden and crispy.
Slice in half, squeeze the lemon over it and enjoy!

Fritz Gelato make the most divine gelato I have ever had the pleasure of tasting, their raspberry in particular is amazing.

Crabapple Bakery at Prahran Market specialise in making and taste incredible, my favourite is the chocolate with peppermint buttercream frosting.

Grill'd and Urban Burger both make gourmet burgers, at Urban Burger I'm all about the Pear Infusion, which features chicken breast, pear, rocket, paramasen cheese, relish and aoili whislt at Grill'd I'm partial to the Moroccan Lamb which has a lamb pattie, tzatziki, salad and relish. Both places have delicious fries as well.

Lygon Street, Carlton is where lovers of Italian food go when they die, my favourite place at this stage is Cafe Trevi, partially because it much more affordable than a lot of places along the strips but also because they do simple, tasty food.

cheap, easy
