Profiteroles are one of the most versatile desserts - they can be presented simply with a custard filling and a dusting of icing sugar for an afternoon tea, or filled with pastry cream and coated in caramel to form a croquembouche. Either way, they make for a great pastry to have in your repetoire :)

(Am trying to control the envy I feel for your luscious-looking strawberries! It's pretty much winter here now, so a 350 gram punnet of sickly looking strawberries is almost AU$10! *sigh* I'll just have to look at pictures of them instead :) )
