Gold is a base metal, so it can be eaten. It'll pass through and you'll have sparkly poop.
I love art cakes :) My favorite of the ones posted here is the case of cola!

As a matter of fact, there is an art gallery here in San Francisco that gives (or sells?) patrons little capsules of gold powder for that very artful poop experience.

I'm not kidding.
