First of all, thank you for all of the great cottage cheese recipes! After a slight mishap involving half a tub of cottage cheese, some taco meat and my microwave I'm down to about 1 cup of cottage cheese left!
This sort of brings me to my next question...
So I recently received as an early xmas gift a new microwave: a Panasonic "Genius" that's absolutely huge and has all sorts of neat sensors and automatic settings.
I've realized though that I still mainly use it to defrost meat, reheat leftovers, heat frozen dinners, make instant oatmeal and steam veggies. Occasionally I'll melt chocolate or butter if I need it.
There has got to be more that I can do with this appliance! I've done some googling and haven't found any good sites for microwave cooking recipes, and I don't really want to go out and buy a cookbook (poor student, limited budget).
So! What do you use your microwave for? Have any good recipes? Any good links to recipe sites?
