I tried
this recipe from
blueinatl as my first attempt at crockpottery.
Twas delicious and tender. However, I have a question. The meat was SOOO tender that it shredded some.
Not all of it but enough that the texture was not completely what I wanted. Did I overcook at 9+ hours?
FYI, It was chuck stew meat and all other recipe instructions were followed. Thanks in advance for the help!
