Looking to maybe get into some Persian food-
I had some Persian neighbors a while back, and I remember the last time I ate with them, it was some kind of rice and lentil dish...maybe it also had chicken? I don't remember the spices they used on the lentils, but it had cinnamon in it, and the rice had saffron-
I know that's incredibly vague, but could any of you possibly have an idea of what this was? Or if you know of something similar and a recipe?
