I have no pictures to share but I made a really yummy green bean salad last week!
I had some french-style green beans which I blanched and then put into an ice-water bath.
Then I made a sauteed some shallots and thyme in butter.
I made a little vinegarette out of lemon juice, salt, pepper, and a touch of truffle oil.
I threw it all together and everyone was impressed! I think it was the truffle oil that was so impressive.
Speaking of truffle oil, what else can I do with it?
